The Bottom of the order still remains a problem, but the Top 6 were awesome tonight. The Gators play with winner of Arkansas/Ole Miss Friday.
Watched hockey! Was that ok ? Go lightning! I just come on here to piss people off Hoyt and u fall for it every time you old bat
Yes sir ! He tees at 1:33 today . Since I haven’t had a drink today I’m able to watch ! Yesterday I went 35 front but backed it with a dang 42 . For a minute there I thought I had it all figured out. Nobody ever figures this Game out
Henny Youngman said this: "While playing golf today I hit two good balls. I stepped on a rake." Raymond Floyd said: “They call it golf because all the other four letter words were taken.” Dean Martin said: “If you drink, don’t drive. Don’t even putt.” Bob Hope said: “If you watch a game, it’s fun. If you play at it, it’s recreation. If you work at it, it’s golf.” Mark Twain said: “Golf is a good walk spoiled.”
Missouri/Tennessee in a weather delay with Missouri up 2-0 in the top of the 5th. It's 4:45 pm. Weather channel showing scattered thunderstorms for Gainesville until 9 pm. Rain isn't the real issue, though, it's lightning.
Not a drop at KSP but the thunder is very loud. So how does this work? This seems to be an after-midnight tournament based on the last few nights. But at some point will they will say "too late to start" the UF game and put it off until tomorrow? And if that happens after the Missouri/Tennessee concludes, then the winner of that game will get a night of rest whereas UF would have to play back-to-back games tomorrow. I doubt Sunday is a possibility, given logistics.
What I heard is “no games can start after 11,” but that was the first night of the 4-game days. Not sure if that changes today, but also don’t see why Sunday would be problematic. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
Maybe they build that in and plan for it, but team hotel, team flights, people who run KSP, people who work at ESPN, etc. -- a lot of moving pieces to suddenly say Sunday.
TV, especially ESPN, controls everything. The championship game is scheduled for 5 pm Saturday on ESPN2 and they will make sure that happens, whether or not another team is put at a disadvantage.
A little rain is not the problem. It's lightning. They have to go with no lightning strikes within 8 miles for 30 minutes before they can allow the teams back on the field. Each time there's a lightning strike, the clock starts over.
I'm guessing we're getting close to resumption -- no thunder/lightening for awhile and things are much brighter at KSP. But now that the Missouri/Tennessee game is way beyond its scheduled time, its no longer listed on the ESPN site. Anyone know a way to get it when it resumes? Like maybe a direct URL or something?
