One of the worst things ever done politically in this country was when the GOP decided they couldn't win elections without wackos and morons. I remember my Dad calling them John Birchers in the 80s. They were ignored as lunatics. I went to school with someone who drives around Orlando in a truck with Let's Go Brandon and Trump flags in the back. He was a deeply lost soul with a sad life long before Trump. I had an unfortunate run in with him when he told me in the same breath that "Biden stole the election" and "Trump was still president."
This is getting so old. Russian propaganda was spreading like wildfire on social media in 2016, our intelligence agencies told us so, and to be honest, a layman could figure SOMEONE was up to no good! Yet, those who called it out, were called "snowflakes". What would you call these whiners and complainers? Judges appointed by trump tossed out the complaints because there was ZERO evidence. Wasn't Rudy's law license put on hold? or something. The orange man lost, thank you Lord! Get OVER it.
I guess this makes me cruel and insensitive but it still cracks me up. 5 Boats Sink At Trump Boat Parade In Texas Apparently the geniuses who participated in the parade failed to realize the effect that the wakes of larger boats would have on smaller ones.
Yeah that happened right here in my town. And it's a perfect analogy for the Republican party: failing to realize the effect that the wakes of larger boats would have on smaller ones. Except I don't think Repubs actually fail to realize it, they just don't care.
Republicans have been a mix of comical and criminal in their continually failing attempts to prove the election was stolen. In Oct. 2020, a GOP donor called authorities and said that a private investors he hired had determined that a particular white van was hauling boxes of ballots. He said his PI would ram the guy and make a citizens arrest. Two days later, the PI ran the van off the road and held the driver at gunpoint. But the driver was an AC repairmen and the van was full of parts. https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2022/05/06/hotze-texas-recording-ballots/
Very informative link. Basically, across 5 states, and probably 100s if not 1000s of ballot drop off locations, the film maker found a small amount of people who fit a pattern of being near, or passing by, a drop box a few times during election season ... but had no way of knowing what that person was doing. And since the link points out the ballot drop off location are almost always in public places, like libraries, government buildings, or court houses, there are plenty of reasons why a person would go by a ballot drop off location a few times. Also, even if he did find a "mule", the film maker had no way of knowing if the person was Pro Trump or Pro Biden. I might fit that pattern, I have to go to the county public records office a few times a months, which is located on the 2nd floor of the government building, right above the election's office where a drop box was located ... and GPS data wouldn't be able to tell what floor you are on. Cell phone GPS is highly inaccurate, especially inside buildings, and worthless for elevation. Dumb movie. Can't believe fall for this.
If anything he would have intervened on Trump's behalf considering that Trump's endorsement in the 2018 was largely responsible for Kemp's nomination and ultimate victory in 2018. Interestingly, Trump's endorsement of David Perdue, Kemp's primary opponent in 2022 has had virtually no impact on the election with Brian Kemp holding and even expanding his lead over Perdue, Trump's new guy.
Yeah, let's cheat for Biden in a state he ends up not needing but lose control of the Senate by doing so. Some of you folks have truly jumped the shark with this nonsense.
Because Perdue literally has no platform. None whatsoever. His entire campaign is just a mindless stream of bad commercials with Trump voiceovers whining about a stolen election. Even the Perdue supporters I know down here don’t understand what he is doing. He’s run an even worse campaign for Gov as he did for Senate when he tied himself to that idiot Kelly Loeffler.
The one absolute prerequisite for an endorsement from Trump is support of the big lie that Trump really won the election and that it was stolen through fraud especially when Trump's chosen candidate is running against an opponent who expressly doesn't support the big lie. A real platform isn't necessary. It also helps to have preexisting status as a celebrity (see Dr. Mehmet Oz) although that's not a necessity.
I bet the funny didn't watch the documentary. If you watch the documentary, it's damn near impossible to not have doubt. The same people "True The Vote" warned about these drop boxes months before the election. Drop boxes to collect votes is complete lunacy. Show up in person with an ID and vote. Paper ballots only. Common sense. Bumbling Joe Biden did not get 81 million real votes.
. What happened in all those court Cases where the lawyers didn’t introduce any of this evidence to support thief claims? But even at their Sanctions hearings? It is one thing to lose a case. But to be sanctioned for filing a frivolous case is not easy? You literally have to make it up or not have evidence. But, DeSousa may be on to something. It looks to me like The GOP tried to keep it close in Atlanta by dumping ballots in the drop box? Or set up his fraud claim by having people circle drop boxes?
The irony here in GA is that it was the Republican legislature that initially passed no excuse absentee voting over the objection of the Democrats, and it was done without problems for almost 2 decades. Then Trump comes along and all of a sudden the whole system is corrupt. I mean, how could 81 million people have voted for Biden. Frankly, it’s more stunning to me that 75 million could have voted for Trump. 16 Years Later, Georgia Lawmakers Flip Views On Absentee Voting “Fast forward to 2021: There has been no evidence of widespread fraud with absentee-by-mail voting and, until the 2018 governor’s race, the relative few voters that used absentee ballots skewed older, whiter and more Republican.” What a bunch of whiners unhappily drowning in their sour grapes.
Hard to imagine that lawsuits full of "someone said they saw something that they thought looked like it could have been ..." or "we heard that a cousin of this guy my brother's friend used to work with said that he was told ..." didn't just sail through the courts victorious.
