ESPN has 'the best of' EJ at Florida. He looks all-world in the clips. Yeah...for sure accuracy issues, but I hope he can work through it and make the best of the change. Gotta like the kids attitude. Go Gators.
He reminded me a lot of Franks. Good guy and had the ability to make plays. We saw what was being left on the table once Trask took over, though. It was significant. I won’t discount that he probably learned a lot this year and people can get better. He doesn’t have to be the same player there that he was here. It might all click for him in 2022. I hope it does. Quality young man.
Everyone should root for him but I have doubts he will ever fix his accuracy issues until he steps into his throws. He has plenty of arm but negates accuracy and velocity with the 2 feet together stance he often throws with. It's just bizzare.
He should be remembered as a Gator QB that gave our football team everything he had. He's a good young man that never got into trouble and he did his very best while he was here... Best of luck to that young man in his new endeavors.
I'm not bashing him and wasn't going to even comment on his playing until some started mentioning it as a discussion. I hope something changes and he does succeed because he represented us well. I felt terrible for his dad who unfortunately visited social media groups and had to witness some really ignorant stuff written about his boy. His mechanics however seem to be ingrained
This topic is pleasing to read. A far cry from the severe negativity young and old men yelled at him from the stands. With his degree, he will always be a Gator. Something he and us fan should be proud of.
My fiancés kid graduates tomorrow with an engineering degree and that’s what he’s getting too. Unfortunately for Emory his football paycheck probably won’t last long. Hopefully he was able to get a decent degree. I’d think Gatornation will be in his corner. He always represented the school well.
Those good feelings and warm wishes for players I think will be gone from now on...can you imagine how upset we would all be if we gave EJ a million in NIL out of high school and we got these results.
