Good move for him. He got his degree from a top five school, now he can go party for a couple years at a top five party school. Smart man.
Good for him. Now, watch, he'll become all world. Sneaker contracts, drinks named after him. Parades, massive Nil $... Best of luck Emory. Thanks for being a Gator. Go Gators.
So much for the experts here that thought he wouldn't get a D1 offer. Best of luck to the young man in football and life.
Guys like Driskell and Brissett managed to have fairly long NFL careers after leaving us. You can count Cam and Grier in it as well, even though their departures weren’t performance related. I hope EJ balls out and earns himself a spot on an NFL roster.
The reality with EJ was he was the best back up we had. He has good legs and was able to get first downs. IF he improves his accuracy he'll do real well. He did toss some decent passes, and we all know some of them went awry. But, as mentioned, great kid, and ASU is probably a good fit. Go Gators
Kid gave his all. Not all his fault that his coaches were incompetent and quit on him. Wish him nothing but the best and I hope he starts for them. Thank you Emory!
He may just fit right in at ASU. Their QB from last year threw for 2300 yards and ran for 700. Dual threat. Hope Emory makes the most of this situation.
