Fishing a small river in Ocala. Dad even warned me I was going to get bit up by bugs if I didnt get in before dark. I caught a couple nice fish and sat down on a log with my 80's ball squeezer shorts and got lit up. A few hours later things went from normal to soft ball sized and it wasnt pretty in the nethers. Moral of the story...when dad tells you something you listen.

Most leagues have stiff penalties for tampering with players. In this case, if they aren’t in the portal, there shouldn’t be contact.

An unexpected benefit of wearing snake boots is it helps keep chiggers (red bugs) off. Tucking pants legs into the boots as most people do, severely reduces access.

I'm starting to "worry" - I am not seeing many fish getting caught?? Do we need to increase the size of the stack to reel some keepers in?

 

Snake boots and Daisy Dukes....that would be a site. That being said they werent Daisy Dukes they were OP Corduroy specials.

 

And no tree hugging in the woods. Save that for the yard.

My dad said back in very early 70’s, Yankees coming to visit Florida would pack Spanish moss in there luggage and take it home. That stuff is loaded with chiggers. Can’t imagine their surprise.

 

Not sure if you meant this as a joke, but it actually does look like they may have invested. John Morgan is a UF grad.
