Notably this is a wavier and, in its current form, will be just for the next two years. Coaches will be able to go above the 25/32 limit as soon as the end of the month.

The Gators were going in to the '22 season with a very good starting OL, especially in the interior. Looks like Billy wants to load up on big tackles to fill things out, which bodes well for a downhill running game. I like the idea of +370 pound right OT next to a 270 pound inline TE and the RB lined up in the pistol formation. Waites fits the bill but I'm not sure Herman and Lovelace will be ready to contribute this season without a full year of Power 5 S&C coaching behind them. No interest in discussing counters or scholly limits. That stuff is distracting. Just tell me who's going to be suiting up in September. I don't care how the sausage is made.
Anybody recall the situation w/ Trenton Brown. He came to UF , I think as a 6-6 350 lb OT and played some here and there. I think some thought he was a tub of goo. Then he gets to NFL as a LT and becomes the highest paid OL guy in NFL. I cannot recall if he was considered a "prime" signing or just another ham and egger.
I know he turned about to be the largest human being in the league when he was at New England. Brady liked to be behind the Great Wall of Trent.
Herman and Lovelace are more ready to play than an incoming HS recruit. A few years removed from HS, bigger/stronger/more mature and at least a year of JUCO playing experience
Did a good job of creating depth on the OL where we had none other than Braun. Should help next year when we have at least 2 starting OL depart.
