You are not the Supreme Court. Some justices agree with you, some disagree with you.

Good to know. That must mean that you believe the government could imprison you for not getting vaccinated or could forcibly sterilize you for being a Republican.

No, some rulings are good, some are bad.

If you had the caveat of, "a majority of justices on the Supreme Court disagree with me," I would not have given you grief. Granted, that line of argument despite being more indicative of reality, is not nearly as persuasive.;)

Of course not. Republicans are doing that for them.

Question - if a Justice lied during their confirmation hearing, can they be disciplined/removed?

You want an answer to those questions... start another thread, maybe I'll respond. This is about Roe v. Wade, and the "right to control your body" that you brought up. This does not encompass every single due process issue, nor does it have to.

Practically speaking, no. They could be impeached, but the Republicans aren't going to vote to remote them. They could be charged with a crime, but that doesn't remove them from the Court. And proving that crime would be extremely difficult. Plus, we all knew that people like Alito, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch were lying.

Is it possible? Yes. Will it ever happen? No.

My questions pertain to that exact right. If you think it exists to protect you in those instances, then it exists to protect pregnant women. The debate then becomes about the other side of the equation. We need to first establish whether we agree on that right existing.

I just didn't know if there was even a process/precedent. It should happen frankly. To show them they're accountable for what they promise & say in their hearings.

I believe that the leak of this document can give hints as to where the court is currently. I think the analysis I read that makes sense is the conservative wing leaked this to prevent Roberts from flipping Cavanaugh and Barrett on overturning Roe. I think a partial reversal of roe was n the cards so this leak was preemptive

Ideally. But ultimately people are placed on the Supreme Court for the outcomes they deliver, not their integrity.

You are still the one deciding that independence is a prerequisite for life that should be protected. And you are defining “independent.” In a way, nothing is really independent life. Animals can’t live without plants. Plants can’t live without bacteria. Males and females can’t make babies without each other.

Another deflection to avoid answering the questions.
