An assumption I know...but likely with some shred of truth when it comes to at least SOME Republicans

Are these internal things frombupset russians, Ukrainian teams, or hacked equipment set to be out of control?

Yeah, your boys are really crushing it. NATO is terrified all around. All the talk in Brussels is that your army is just a few good sets of boots from marching clear to the Channel. China is afraid you’ve stolen a march on them, and their campaign against Taiwan is going to pale in comparison to your glorious lightning takedown of mighty Ukraine. Finally, I hear Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean nations are simply petrified; they have seen the precision of your conventional weapons and fear you might shoot an ICBM at Omaha that lands instead on Acapulco, San Salvador, or Santo Domingo.

I agree - think it's a combination. Only issue is Russia using this as "evidence" to it's people that they're being attacked by NATO and they have to fight back & declare war.

You may well get your wish for boots on the ground. Whether or not it turns out the way you envision the future is yet to be determined.

Funny...I was going to correct you b/c I confused dugger with a different poster on the sports forum, but I see he's only posted for like a year and like 300 posts... So maybe you're on to something there.

    Good stuff Taipan.

    Artfully executed, sir.

It's possible that he's an old poster, back from a long Dream to play around once again.

My wish is not for boots on the ground. My wish is for the complete defeat of Russia in Ukraine. If that can be done with economic measures against Russia and keeping Ukraine in supply, then okay. But I doubt it. The weight of Russian manpower and resources is going to eventually exhaust Ukraine, no matter how hard Ukraine resists. I think it is inevitable that either NATO air and naval forces will have to enter the fight or Ukraine will fall. If Ukraine falls, then we are looking at an extended food crisis, refugee crisis, massive and sustained military spending increases, and long-term economic upheaval once China makes its move.

Then you and I both agree on the doubts and this being a no win situation for Ukraine. Where we differ is whether or not we should support the effort of Ukrainians with arms, intel and supplies to fight a losing battle. If NATO enters the fray then by definition so do we and that is something I do not want to see happen.

Yep, that’s the question. Ukraine is being very coy - making remarks about karma. I believe Ukraine has a couple or more small teams (could be Russian or Ukrainian) doing this but I can’t explain how they are suppling themselves with necessary materials. This theory fits with how canny Ukraine has been in the war. Intriguing to me. I believe there will be more accidents.
