Watched a little video of Johni just now. He's got a good array of offensive moves and shots in the post, and doesn't feel the need to go for the slam dunk when a layup is the better option. On defense, he blocks a lot of shots, and doesn't take crazy swings at it. Good timing, mostly, and avoids fouling. I like him. Also learned how to pronounce his name: Juh-NYE.
huh.. Ranking top 20 transfers for 2022: Miami lands Arkansas State's Norchad Omier, the Sun Belt Player of the Year
Jitoboh maybe next, but Broome not committing may change that. We’ll see. Deadline is pretty much here.
Jitoboh is all Gator. He was making great progress and has a good basketball IQ. He had a freak injury that shouldn't hurt his development. I can see him with an important role next year.
JJ would be crazy to leave now. If he continues to improve his weight and conditioning, he could have a big season.

Looks like a one year rental, but likely an immediate upgrade over Appleby. Would be a good get for much needed depth. Now we just need one more big
Former Florida Gators PG Tyree Appleby Commits to Wake Forest - Sports Illustrated Florida Gators News, Analysis and More
Wake Forest was his only visit. I had a feeling. Not sure why this choice, but good luck to him. I wish him the best!
I really liked Appleby. He gave us a lot of memories and had me jump off the couch after hitting a clutch shot more than once. Sad to see him go, but I’m guessing that for whatever reason his leaving was probably a mutual decision. Good luck to him.
Really hope they both pull the trigger. Osunniyi would be the perfect backup to Castleton while playing signicant minutes at the 4 & Lofton could be the experienced starting pg to run the offense that the Gators need. They fill positions of need & get to play in SEC. Win all around. Add them and Kugel and what an incredible offseason it would be for Golden. Adding transfers with 3 years of eligibility, a couple of incoming freshman, add 2 veteran transfers and get CC to stay. Wow. Hope this happens.
