When you complain about it being brought up it tells me you don't take it seriously. Sorry

So you’re saying the Party who minimized an entire Summer worth of riots wants to keep one politically convenient riot in a news cycle for over a year?

    Two unrelated issues.

Democrats are using January 6th to paint all Republicans in a broad brush.

As it should be. When one party tries to overthrow the government it should be brought up as much as possible until they do something about.

Within the GOP party? Hell no.

Unless you want to count ostracizing the members that ACTUALLY did try and do something about it. Then sure.

That is an opinion piece and doesn’t answer the question. And the article focuses on conflicts of interest were credit agencies don’t downgrade bonds, debt etc. Please offer your insight into why Florida’s removal of Reedy Creek’s authority to tax and pay its debt would not damage Reedy Creek’s bonds unless the debt is assumed, which was not addressed by the repeal. Also, given that the statute authorizing Reedy Creek to issue bonds requires Reedy Creek’s debt to be assumed by the counties, how does the assumption of $1billion on debt plus the burden of providing government services to Reedy Creek affects the ability of these counties to pay back the debt? Is it wholly unaffected?

60% of the House GOP voted to reject the state electors. 40% of GOP Senators. 10 of them. There is a record.

How many did so to further investigate voter fraud?

In other words, how many did so because they didn’t feel confident in the results and wanted to procedurally buy some time to clarify who won?

Not because they wanted to override the Will of the people.

Rubio calls Jan. 6 attack a ‘violent riot’

What did Democrats do to stop the Summer riots of 2020?

I see. Playing politics again. I never questioned Obama’s schooling nor his intelligence. Only the blindly partisan do that. Congrats

The time for that had come and gone. It was investigated and there was no significant fraud. January 6th was the day the electoral college was to be certified.

I agree, you're preaching to the choir.

But the allegation is that the Republicans who refused to certify the election results all wanted to orchestrate a coup to make sure Trump won. That is not the case. Many just wanted every illegal vote excluded, and every legal vote counted.

Hey, when somebody always wants to repeatedly attribute the worst motives to my side in bad faith, don't be surprised if I go on offense rather than play defense.

Wrong. Republicans are doing it to themselves by doing nothing to contribute to the bipartisan investigation and even refusing to cooperate.
Not by the Republicans. The Republicans condemned the insurrection the day it happened. Since then, they've been in denial. They refused to investigate the Jan 6 attempt to stop the legal certification of the new President. Then they ostracized the two members of their party who agreed to participate in a bipartisan investigation. Now they are in denial, pretending that nothing out of the ordinary happened that day. Shameful.

Joe Biden strongly condemned violence, burning and looting on several occasions. As did several other leaders of the party. Fact.

Zero. They voted the way they did because they wanted to show that they stood for stopping the transfer of power to Joe Biden. January 6 is the day when by law state electors are approved by Congress. They knew they would lose. Then again, here you are again twisting yourself in knots to try to justify their bad acts. Deflection and everything else. You just can’t say it is wrong. And at some point, when you deflect and can’t say something is wrong, it is because you agree with it. It is remarkable to me how many people equate an attack on American Democracy with much of anything else. It really shows how much they tacitly agree with it.
