I will be celebrating if/when she gets confirmed. The Eleventh Circuit desperately needs a voice like hers on it.
I think she will be confirmed but the vote will be almost strictly on party lines not unlike the SCOTUS nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson.
She's a civil rights lawyer who is nominated to the Eleventh Circuit. It may not be a big story for you. That's fine. But considering the composition of that court and its history, it's a big story for me.

I would also add that she has been particularly strong in the area of voting rights and that her nomination is significant considering the legislative attacks on voting rights by the Republican dominated state legislatures in the states of the 11th Circuit.

Finally. They need to confirm her quickly. It won't change the overall composition of the Eleventh Circuit, but having her be eligible for panel assignments would be nice.
