That would make sense. Committing would be too out of the blue.

And that's not even mentioning the fact that we got Coach Peagler too (coaching RB's) who also won Running backs Coach of the year at Michigan state. So with Peagler and Juluke we have 2 of the last 3 RB's coach of the year.

Seider is a closer that knows how to talk to kids. Would have been game changer at UF.

Gotta give him props for the blocking we got from our RBs under Knox. I don't recall better blocking from running backs since the eighties. Trask would not have been as productive without the protection he got from Pierce, Davis and company. The worst assistants in my memory were DB coaches.

We’re the DB coaches really bad? Do you know if they’ve been rehired? If Knox was really good, a solid coach, would he have had to settle for Boofallo?

It’s possible for two people to watch the same set of events and come away with a different opinion. He was not engaged and in my opinion is responsible for a game plan that had little chance of succeeding.

Bowl game says otherwise. Little to no serious prep and result was embarrassing.

Different world now. While much of it may be for attention, it is also a legit thing to try to increase their number of social media followers and likes on social media which may (or may not) help them down the line with NiL as well as just more popularity and influence/influencer. Don’t really like football players focusing outside of football but that is the new world. If a person can get a million followers they increase their ability to get paid as an influencer and more brand exposure, etc. I think it’s dumb but that is the reality and so while it can and is a case of “look at me” it is not just for attention in the standard sense of the word.

It is smart on their end…who knows if football will last for them and so taking advantage of every way possible to increase their earning potential.
