Thanks. Looked in various tweets and all said the same thing so went ahead and posted. Part of it I guess was meant to point at Austria's behavior regarding the Ukraine war, the friendliness toward Putin, being against Ukraine joining the EU, etc. Thanks for finding that & clarifying.

LePen looks to have been soundly defeated by Macron in the French election. That should give Macron a bit more lattitude in his actions, which is good news.
Somewhat off-topic, but I'm a bit jealous of how fast they know results there. Advantage of a more centralized system, I guess.
More likely it’s a function of margin of defeat. In America, when it’s a landslide we all know that same night, too. Of course, there’s also the fact that we have four time zones (six if you include Alaska and Hawaii, but they rarely determine the winner if ever), and France has only one, I think.
