The left? Or, maybe you can explain why it is conservative for a leader to hush the voices of his/her constituents. Like any good leader, they should encourage those they lead to speak up & speak out. My boss always does.

    For the comprehension/vision impaired:

    In 2021 Disney paid

    $780.3 million dollars in taxes

I know right, leftists are known for doing that.

It's almost like conservatives are done fighting with one hand tied behind their back. If corporations are going to cower to leftist agendas, and leftists are going to club corporations into submission, conservatives aren't going to fight with one hand tied behind their back anymore.

We like supporting business, but there are certain things even more important than that. DeSantis recognizes this, as do other Republicans.

You have it backwards. They are surrendering, not fighting.

So insuring that K-3 isn't overrun by transvestite-loving groomers masquerading as teachers is more important than Disney gold in the coffers? That seems like a very bad business decision to me.

And they would pay more if they didn't have the special district and were treated the same as Universal, SeaWorld, and Busch Gardens.

    Yes absolutely.

Poll conservatives and I'm sure they'd rather pay more in taxes than have their first graders force-fed nonsense about gender identity, and age inappropriate conversations about sexual orientation.

This is not the fight we wanted, but if Disney insists, so be it.

How much more? Ballpark it. Also, ballpark the additional expenses to the county. Thanks.

You think there's only a dozen cons in Florida? :D

How exactly do you think DeSantis got elected and Florida voted for Trump... twice?

We must know different conservatives. The ones I know don't want to pay more in taxes for anything, much less some bugaboo dreamed up by the far-right.

I have it straight from The Gateway Journal, or the Western Epoch, I forget which, but the word was after over 150 yrs of public primary education the was a huge wave of trans teachers descending on Florida to begin "grooming". I believe that DeS's greatest fear was losing the majority since so many MAGAs would resign from the Legislature to assist. Maybe I heard that wrong tho......? But I have just as much evidence of that happening in Florida as: "have their first graders force-fed nonsense about gender identity, and age inappropriate conversations about sexual orientation"

Yes, we're back to "this isn't happening." I've already documented how this is happening, but if I must continue so be it.
