Your argument hear reminds me of the old Cheech and Chong skit where they walk upto a pile of dog doo.
Found the video. In August 2020, Hawkfish (a Bloomberg funded firm) CEO Josh Mendelsohn explained the *red mirage* Stating that how on the night of the election, it would appear that Trump was winning, but that once all the votes were counted *sometime after election day* that the votes will show *exactly that: a mirage.* And people were discussing and predicting this would happen because there were far more mail-in ballots this past election and that it would take time to count them with many ballots not even being opened & counted until after the election (not just in blue states either).
How does an algorithm vote? Are they all mail-in votes? We're waiting for the actual evidence mail-in is so wrong. But you're spinning to algorithms? Are they somehow the evidence? Clarify for us.
I was responding to someone who brought up companies influence on elections. If you don’t think FB/tweeter/instagram/etc we’re not using their ability to steer stories with their algorithms…you are naive.
Voting in-person is completely meaningless - it has nothing to do with the content of the election but is merely a method of transmitting votes. The only reason to exclude a method of voting is if it is demonstrably prone to fraud. Unfortunately for your position, in more than two decades some states like Oregon have been using exclusively mail-in voting there have only been a handful of voter fraud cases and all involving insubstantial numbers of votes. Fraud %s are the same or less than in-person voting. Why is that? There are a few reasons: Ballots are only mailed to the registered voter’s address; Ballots are mailed out over a period of weeks making intercepts very difficult; All ballot envelopes are bar coded to a specific voter meaning the system will catch duplicate ballots; If voters do not receive their ballots the prior one is invalidated and a new bardcoded envelope is used; Each fraudulent vote is a separate felony and is prone to being caught due to the above factors. Basically the only situations that provide much opportunity to fraudulent vote are those in which you exercise control over other voters - generally caretakers like memory care, assisted living or family. It’s happened in a couple instances but it’s still not easy to pull off and most people aren’t willing to risk prison to cast a half dozen extra votes for their ideology. Voting is so important we should be doing everything possible to increase participation, not trying to make it more difficult and especially not because we’re afraid differing viewpoints will find it easier to vote.
Participation is what the republican party has clearly signaled it doesn't want. Mail-in voting simply became the bogey-man to push the big lie. Now, it's pub controlled states that have passed numerous laws making it harder for people to vote, or making it easier for politicos to not certify results they don't want. It's #1 or #2 on the list of clear examples how republicans are abandoning democracy.
& yet far more complicated than what I have now. I am sorry that you have been so brainwashed by big gov & live in irrational fear, but....
Not to mention Trump and the Republicans INTENTIONALLY urged their lemmings NOT to vote by mail and it was NOT because they thought it illegitimate but because Trump and his folks KNEW it would give the early illusion that Biden was behind, bolstering their case for fraud and a hostile takeover of government as the mail-in votes were counted and "the rug was pulled from under them by cheating Dems." The course of action was set MONTHS out and 92's posts in this thread are examples of those Mar-a-Lago fish hitting the bottom of the damned barrel a full sixteen months later, my goodness
That is not easier and does not address the supposed security issues with mail-in voting. Again, there is no intrinsic value to voting in-person other than to create additional hurdles to vote. My vote stays the same whether I mail it, drop it in a ballot box, or wait in line to use a voting booth.
Here I was thinking that we were finally going to be given some valid evidence defending the statement you made on mail-in voting. I suppose I was naïve. LOL
As soon as I read “Kirk” and “DeSouza” I knew this was nonsense. Like the left touting Michael Moore as documentary filmmaker when even he says he’s making “op-Ed’s.”
GA mail in voting was put in place by Republicans. This thread is nuts. 16 Years Later, Georgia Lawmakers Flip Views On Absentee Voting
I remember that. I was thinking "what are you doing? Are you seriously telling your own people that mailing in a vote is fraud??" People have been mailing in votes for many, many years pre-Trump. This is sore losing pure & simple, especially since plenty of recounts & lawsuits have happened all over the place already. They did dig up some fraud by Trump voters/some Republicans, though. How many rural Republicans vote via mail, by the way? Are they committing fraud too or is it just the votes folks don't agree with?
