Most at least try, but not DeSantis. DeSantis signs into law solutions to problems that don’t exist while ignoring the larger problems that I mentioned. His reasoning seems to be that he just wants to “stick it to the libs” which doesn’t solve any problems but makes him, and his Republican cuckolds in the Florida legislature the butt of jokes. He would be better served by following the lead of blue state Republican governors like Larry Hogan, Charlie Baker, and Phil Scott.

Sure. I do think tattoos are an interesting example. As a more mild example and while I guess it's not permanent, our society thinks little of parents taking their little girls (maybe some boys, too) to have holes put in their ears so they can put jewelry in them. My understanding is that some do it to babies and young toddlers. By and large, it seems that's socially accepted.

    1. You know you're out of answers when you go with consent in other countries. Wanna follow the age of consent for other things in other countries? Who cares?

    2. The tattoo argument was posed a liberal poster who cant rationally pit himself so far left as to join your minority position.

Michael Hobbes is all over this issue, including the so called appeal to centrism argument, and really cannot be logically refuted, at least morally. We should differentiate between political and moral arguments

You have it backwards. The highest suicide rates in the country are "gender dysphoria" people. It's a mental illness. If gender dysforia was so wonderful according to you libs then why is the suicide rate 40%.

I could point out AGAIN that there are states here in the United States that do not prohibit children from getting tattoos. Your contempt for other cultures is noted.

Yes, my "far left" position of letting parents, children, and their doctors, instead of the government, determine whether or not to use evidence-based treatments that save lives. I'm on the side of limited government and protecting children. You're on the side of big government and harming children. All because you're afraid of something you don't understand.

Its high because people like you hate them and stigmatize them, making them political pawns. Its even higher when people like you deny them treatment.

Good lord man. I am talking about consent ages. Yes I have contempt for cultures who allow 11 year old children to be violated by men.
You are the one acting like we should care about consent ages for things in other countries.

And I am afraid of nothing. I jave told multiple times on this board just how close we are to someone dealing with this.
Someone we love and care for deeply.

Your assertion is lazy and insulting. Everyone who disagrees with the left is "phobic" and "scared".

    Its insulting and lazy. Period

Add "hate" to the list of lazy and insulting comebacks.

"Phobia", " scared" and " hate" are the only possible reasons people can disagree with the wise ones.

I wasn't talking about consent ages. So stop wasting my time with irrelevant points.

I'd rather be "insulting and lazy" than the guy who supports denying evidence-based, life-saving treatments to children because he's afraid of something he doesn't understand.

Who would you describe as "wise ones?" To me, they are the medical experts with advanced degrees and years worth of practical experience. And they are the ones who are advocating the use of puberty blockers, especially since studies show it reduces suicide attempts by a significant amount. Who am I to disagree with their expertise?

    Lazy, insulting.... and inaccurate.

Btw, you are the one that brought other countries into this. I am asking which of their cultural things I have to care about? Is that up to you to choose? (like everything else the extreme leftists seem to think)

The "wise" ones are the ones who claim all disagreement with them is "hate", a "phobia" or based in "fear". Their wisdom is above all and is not to be questioned.

They are so wise that one dare not counter their argument without facing the passive aggressive bullying with the magical terms listed.

I've seen Dadx's posts, and so have you. If you feel the need to jump to his defense because you feel slighted by my comments directed to him, that doesnt reflect well on you, I'm afraid.

....let me add that the wise ones will feed on their own (as seen in this thread) if full compliance is not in place.

The unwise ones will sacrifice the marginalized they are not part of to get along

It's a general comment. It's the lazy fallout that happens here when disagreement happens about the same few untouchable subjects.

Oddly enough a couple very liberal posters here agree with the FDoH. Are they unwise too? Who are they trying to "get along" with. What are they "afraid of". Who do they "hate"? What "phobia" do the process?

There are posters to be dismissed out of hand and posters to be reckoned with via argument. Dadx is solidly in the former category. You get what you give around here.
