Empty words from the world, as NATO/the US & other powers sit back and watch...yes I know supplies have been sent. But planes/no fly zone would've helped...instead they have this

 

Well if their Chancellor would stop being one of the ones obstructing/dragging their feet on weapons that'd help.

If these numbers are even remotely correct, they are simply stunning.

However, the Russian army possess something like 12,500 tanks (pre-war). The US has already sent over 1/4 of all Javelin anti-tank missile systems in existence. The US may run out of anti-tank missiles to send before Russia runs out of tanks to sacrifice.

 

Still hard pass. My vote is NO on any us personnel in direct contact. Send weapons but no us pilots. Sailors soldiers or marines fighting. Ukraine is accepting volunteers. But No thanks on people ‘volunteering’ other peoples kids to go fight

 

Not only that, but if we lose a single NATO aircraft or ServiceMember, we will be drawn into the war full scale.

 

The ride of the Russian advance changed as Western aid arrived. Don’t seek short the presence of western “advisors” we don’t hear about. There is a treasure trove of Intel to be gained and some Ukrainian tactics to date reflect special forces strategies.

 

I agree with that. Read quite a bit of OSINT regarding covert American assets basically running everything. No idea if true or just a Psyop to F with the Russians. Other than the spetnaz, would would kill their own family, the conventional Russian forces and leadership want nothing to do with the US. There is a smart way tactically and strategically to run this and from all indications I see it’s going well( no I’m not talking about civilian, I’m specifically referencing the kinetic ops v Russian forces )

 

I hope we can make more. Sometimes an argument is made to buy more weapons to keep the factories open. I never really bought the argument but I see the need now.

I see this and it makes me think how much is this costing the US taxpayer?

Original purchase of equipment "donating to the war effort plus billions in aid dollars" the cost to re supply the American stock pile.

 

Hopefully — and I have no idea if this is so — producing more Javelins was part of the cost of these aid packages. The defense industry needs to be cranking them out.

 

It’s an excellent question to ask once Russia has been defeated.

 

Would it make you feel better if only members of the armed forces who volunteered in writing could fight in Ukraine? Because my guess is you would have to turn away most of the volunteers and still have a very formidable force vis-à-vis Russia.
