Is there any way to find out what the deal was? You would think they would need to disclose it, or is that clandestine now too.
I don't know, maybe there are special rules when it comes to NIL, but if I hire someone privately to do, say, a marketing job for me or my company, the terms (including pay) are really nobody's business but me and that other someone. IMO only.
if it's a private company, yes...if it's a public company there's a lot more disclosure required (in general). It's interesting though. So when we say someone got an NIL deal it has (at least supposed to have) nothing to do with the university but we assume someone made a deal because they're a fan or fans and want(s) to bring a player here. It all seems so ripe for collusion and corruption, but I guess this is our new reality.
This is confusing to some, but this donation was to the building plan. He could have donated to the NIL, but he didn't. It is for the Boosters/University Master Facilities Plan. His name will be on/in buildings because of it.
Terribly hard to find any reason to question Golden so far, between the staff he has assembled, his work in the portal, and his retention of the current team.
Youre gonna have to wait for FSU to get done printing their 2023 BBall National Champions shirts....if they did it 2 years ago why not do it again.
