Throw "The Castle" in and I will REALLY be pleased. I'm actually beggining to think he may "stick".

Need what - 2 good transfers (A POINT GUARD PLEASE) and our rooks and we might just have a decent core?????

Yeah, if CC comes back, I still think we need another interior guy and a true point guard. Based on his philosophy, I think CTG will find us a rebounding-first big, and a point guard that takes good care of the ball.

Hopefully Golden can snag a legit PG in the portal to make sure we are good there. Most of these guys seem more as 2 guards to me. Maybe his system makes these guys look more organized, but adding a bonafide starter appears what we need “on paper”. With Duruji in the portal that means a 4 is needed as well. If Castleton returns the depth is there, without Castleton obviously you have a desperate need.

    Wish list:
    1. A steady point guard that can and will run Golden's offense in a manner that pleases the coaching staff.
    2. A 6'8, 6'9, 250ish banger that lays the wood on guys when he fouls them.
    3. A back to the basket guy that can create a shot for himself or for the shooters. (Contingent on CC leaving and can be combined with #2)

Any chance at a season might bank on a quality transfer at PG. I'd love to believe that either of those two guys is SEC-ready; more likely they are ready to backup. I doubt Castleton will be back.

Agreed. Not sure why @ApexNC hit you with the drive-by creative rating for this comment. Maybe he knows something negative that we don't about Kennedy or Golden, but the kid is nice and has skills in my eyes. Obviously, we don't know what he's going to become here at UF, but he has serious potential.

I thought the "Golden touch" was creative. No malice or negativity intended

I don't think it counts as negative as far as statistics, but people oftentimes use it to signal that they think you are being too optimistic, or are wrong about an opinion.

    Kennedy / transfer
    Lane / Aberdeen / Richards / ?Jones?
    Reeves / transfer
    Felder / transfer
    Castleton / Jitoboh

    EDIT: Forgot Richards. Maybe he's a 1?

    PG: Kennedy/
    SG: Richards/Jones/Aberdeen
    SF: Reeves/Lane
    PF: Reed/Felder (small ball)
    C: Castleton/Jitoboh

This is what it looks like to me. Obviously some of these guys can slide around in the backcourt and get minutes at different spots. But ideally I’d think a legit PG and a PF, possible starters, would be the targets to still aim for. Lane and Felder both could probably be small ball 4 as well take minute at the 3. I’m not even sure about Kennedy as PG vs. SG but somebody has to be assigned there lol.

The only starting spots that seem 100% to me are Reeves at the 3, and Castleton at the 5 (when healthy).
