Although the wall wasn't Trump's entire platform if the issues that he emphasized were quantified the wall and immigration would be at least 80 percent of his 2016 platform and it was based on demonizing illegal immigrants, few of which were the rapists, murderers, human traffickers or drug smugglers portrayed by Trump at his MAGA rallies. Most of the illegals came here to find employment, some prime examples being the ones Trump himself hired. Yeah Trump can be seen in very friendly settings with people of color for years but if you ask the media you rely on he is a racist. Many have been lead to believe he hates all immigrants, what he has a problem with are mostly immigrants who are here illegally. As far as 80% of his platform being the Wall......I call a giant BS on that one. Obama care and conservative judges were just as much a part of his platform as immigration there were many other things too.....You guys trying to sell that Trump ran solely on the Wall are full of shit.
So what was his healthcare plan, since you said Obamacare (I assume meaning replacing it) was a major part of his platform?
I am addressing a lie.....The lie is the wall was 100% of trumps platform. Then another poster walked it back to 80%. I am saying still not even close. You guys are trying to look past a lie. The lie needs to be addressed as true or false before any further discussion on replacing obamacare, adding conservative judges. illegal aliens versing illegals or any other issues Trump ran on
Technically, there was no platform in 2020. Literally. It didn't exist. He didn't run on policy proposals. He had very few of those. As evidenced by the fact that one policy you came up with (healthcare) as one he ran on was one in which he continually said that he would come out with his plan in two weeks, and never did. He kept claiming that he was going to come out with an infrastructure plan in a multitude of weeks (such that "Infrastructure Week" became a bit of a joke). Never really did come up with a plan for that either.
In that first famous speech about Mexican immigrants being rapists, did he limit that to illegal immigrants?
Like I said I addressed a bold faced lie that Trumps 2016 whole platform was building a wall. That was walked back by another poster that once again fed a line of BS that 80% of his campaign was based on immigration. I stated that I am not here to argue other points I am here to address the lies. Are you guys sticking to that 2016 was about a Wall and not cutting back Obamacare, putting in conservative justices, rebuilding the military (OK guys there is your opening to once again change the subject and bring up the Space Force) and Making America Great Again?
If you are talking of the speech where he said Mexico was not sending us their best he was right.....I've met a few dozen Mexican roofers and a few fruit pickers but I'll be damned if I can ever remember meeting a Mexican Doctor, Lawyer or Engineer. I know they exist just not coming here in those caravans.
Let's try this again: You said Trump was talking about illegal immigrants, not all immigrants. In that speech, did he limit his criticism to illegal immigrants?
So doctors are better people than fruit pickers? Or roofers by nature are murderers and rapists? What a load of racist bull crap.
LMAO Hillary Clinton Says Trump Missed the Deadline to File His Massive RICO Lawsuit, Adds that All His Legal Claims Are Wrong Anyway
Make America great again and rebuilding the military were empty slogans, not policies. Although under Trump the Republicans did massively increase military (and government) spending, I would hardly say our military needed “rebuilding”. We just went from astronomically high military spend to even more astronomical spend. While most probably thought the budget sequester eventually needed to be lifted anyway, I don’t think anything Trump did increased military readiness (and sure as hell didn’t help with efficiency). But it is kind of amusing to see his “conservative” fans celebrate him adding a new branch to the military (I.e massive government bureaucracy and waste that is most likely of no benefit to actual capabilities… including in space).
Party of elitists indeed. Have you considered that maybe you haven't met them because those Mexican doctors, lawyers, or engineers are too good to hang out with you.
As a lawsuit it is laughable as most of his are - nothing more than butthurtedness. But his campaign fund and PACs are in constant need of a stream of outrage and more butthurt to keep the funds flowing from his marks. And it works. He has $122 million in funds - more than the RNC. I think of contributions to trump as a tax on the very gullible. Trump Entered 2022 With $122 Million in the Bank Donald J. Trump’s political operation raised more than $51 million in the second half of 2021 as the former president continued to dominate the Republican fund-raising landscape in his first year out of the White House, according to new federal filings. It reported spending $1,438.40 at Mar-a-Lago in December, plus $10,105.09 at Mr. Trump’s Palm Beach golf club.
That I am sure that every one of these folks who are so anti immigrant had ancestors who came to America who were absolutely the cream of the crop themselves....
