The cumulative shooting in this tournament especially from 3 point and the free throw line has to be the worst in history. Something is wrong.
My 2 cents: Trying to grade a particular team on just a win or loss here or there is not very practical. If there's one thing we've seen....***most*** teams can either beat or be beaten on any given day - much of it depending on crazy stuff that can't be coached or has zero to do with talent alone. Maybe it's just the mental part of the game - I dunno. All I know is a team can get hot and when they do NO ONE is safe! That very SAME team can all of a sudden grow cold and then they're done, no matter who they are or who their coach is. That's just the way it is.....IMHO....
Well - no young coaches in the final four. All old timers and a 51 year old Hubert Davis. Hubert has done a phenomenal job with this squad. Billy the kid was unique and special. Never will be another coach like him.
Big fan of Jay Wright from here on out. Sucks one of their better players is out. Couldn't stomach a Duke championship in MKs last game. We'd never hear the end of it.
It was all my fault - I was pulling for them to win it all. Not sure why other than they don't bother me as a program.

"Uniquely" probably unnecessarily pinned me to a corner I didn't intend to put myself in, so that's fair. I still think the idea that fans can run off coaches is overplayed.
UNC is in an enviable position here. Yes, they are a storied program but as an 8 seed this was an unexpected run. All of the pressure is on Duke to a) justify their seeding and b) not let Coach K ride off with a loss to a bitter rival on just about the biggest stage there is.
Agree. However, I think just making the FF has eased some of the pressure. No matter what, they made it to the FF in his last year. That's still pretty big even if they don't win. IMO, this one's all about the rivalry. Can't stand that I'm going to have to hear about it non-stop all week.....and probably for years to come.
I think it would have relieved the pressure but for the fact that they are playing Carolina. I think that keeps the pressure turned up. If it was Kansas knocking them out, I think they can celebrate the FF and feel good about it. Carolina knocking them out taints the accomplishment. I'm curious, who has the obnoxious fans? I imagine UNC has the numbers.
Finals dominated by the traditiinal power teams. All of those teams are playing exceptionally well, proven by making it through this years gauntlet. Lots of very good teams and a few playing over their heads are out. None, however, even those with fan bases that felt superior or entitleled, can match these four. Looking forward to see if any have passed their peak and will fold.
Florida expectations are very reasonable given the set up. My point is White may not be suited to coach a team with those sorts of expectations. His personality might be more for the mid-major level (which UGA is damn close to that).
