Didn’t see any thing already posted but saw that some miss st coach may be joint the new staff...korey McCray. Anyone hear anything?
Saw our old friend Bullis post that he was a coach of the atlanta Celtics AAU team at one point and had lots of AAU connections and liked the hire. I have no idea so will go with his opinion.
I was thinking miss state had a pretty good recruiting class lined up before Howland got fired. Maybe we can get in on some of the decomitts?
Another informative article by @Efawcett7. Sounds like an excellent hire. Especially with the emphasis on recruiting and developing players. Pulling in a top 100 recruit along with him would be icing on the cake!
I was an academic in engineering so you would think that I would be a hard ass about academic qualifications. And I am. I would like to see something like what they have for Fine Arts where students get in based on their portfolio instead of SATs and GPAs.For elite athletes that want to go to college and learn more about their craft we could come up with something similar. In other words there could be a major in football or basketball or any other sport. And make the coaches faculty in those disciplines. The down side is that they can get tenure.
Don’t look now, but Musselman and Arkansas have three five star recruit commitments in this upcoming Arkansas class. Playing and recruiting well. Will see if Todd is a better Golden than Al was with the Canes
