OK, I am going to treat this seriously for a second. He won the election so what are the real damages?

To paraphrase the Ukrainian troops on Snake Island: he can go sue himself

Almost like that’s an element one has to prove, right?

You don't even need a law degree to know that much.

Well there are other imaginary damages but suing because you lost an election atleast would have damages but with a win damages would all be esoteric. I am no lawyer but I think damages when you won seem very limited.

We were. Dismissed and they paid our fees. They asked for a meeting to pitch us on using the Trump flag, flew NY to Naples, spent a few nights, told us they were the only team in the world that could make our project work, then sent us a bill for a sales trip they asked for.

It's called treason. There's a bullet attached to it.

I’m quickly wondering if this is a parody account.

Yeah, to hell with the constitution, as long as your orange god is in power that is all that matters. You clearly do not believe in any of our founding principles.

I am considering turning him off in settings. Haven't had my coffee can't remember what it's called. I don't like to do that because everybody adds something interesting on occasion. I think he is the exception.

Yep. Same boat. I find almost everyone has something valuable to contribute. But we are quickly getting to why “almost” is in that sentence.

The frivolous lawsuit is another stunt to ensure that Trump stays in the news. He can probably also use it to raise money from his army of gullible rubes. If it's actually litigated it could backfire on Trump in multiple ways. First, the defendants would be able to introduce evidence of Russian involvement in the election although I do not think it will ever go that far. Secondly, and keeping in mind that this is a civil lawsuit Trump could be and almost certainly would be deposed. Testifying under oath is the last thing a person incapable of distinguishing the truth from fiction would ever do.

How does this survive a statute of limitations attack, among the scores of other more technical defenses?

I think we might see the DNC react to the lawsuit differently than what might be considered optimal defense strategy. I think we might see them answer, instead of moving to dismiss, assert their defenses, INCLUDING TRUTH AS A DEFENSE, and let the discovery process go forward.

Document subpoenas to third parties might pose more damage than Trump’s deposition.

Meanwhile, I would not be shocked if Hilary countersues him for defamation. This can turn out to be so fun!!!
