I thought I read somewhere that the Florida legislature enacted legislation imposing some material limitations on the use of NIL in the state colleges.

There was something about that on the football board a while back. After Florida, Texas, California and a couple of other states passed laws, others came along and passed laws that put fewer restrictions on their schools.

Without googling it I bet that Kentucky and Kansas are two of them.

I doubt it will look any different. NIL made payments legal, but it was always happening under the table. Basketball’s playoff tournament is the great equalizer. In football, you have no such means to combat it with the j woefully inadequate 4-team a playoff system. In basketball, nobody ever stays at the top that long save a couple schools, and even then it doesn’t guarantee championships or final fours.

Texas may have passed laws, but spending thirty million on a football recruiting class is a huge enticement. What I wonder did their law state. You can do whatever allows you to get recruits that Nicky has been getting.
