The deed is done. The following are the 4 regionals along with explanation of how the regionals and nationals will play out: Florida is 2022 NCAA Gymnastics Championships Second Seed - Florida Gators As expected, Florida the 2 seed is the headliner at Auburn followed by Auburn, Kentucky, and Denver. The Gators get to help kick Ohio State out of the championships. It would be a huuuuuge upset if both Florida and Auburn do not advance to nationals. Kentucky is missing Bailey Bunn and Denver is missing Linzie Brown. Oklahoma, the 1 seed, is at home and hosts Minnesota and California. Oklahoma will advance, but it'll be interesting to see who comes out of the regional with the Sooners. Michigan and LSU tangle at NC State. Utah and Alabama tangle at Washington. It'll be interesting to see how Alabama does with Luisa Blanco injured and out of the championships.

NCAA Women Gymnastics Championships Bracket: 2022_WGYM_Bracket_Regional.pdf (ncaa.com) This should allow us to see the progressions in the results through regionals and nationals.
So, OU basically has to show up to their home gym to advance. And yes, I understand the situation with ILL. Still doesn't make it fair.
Television for the women's gymnastics regionals will only be on the Watch ESPN app, AKA ESPN3. To watch the regionals on the Watch ESPN app, you must be a television subscriber of a service that televises ESPN. For streamers, that would be DirecTV, YouTube TV, Sling TV, Fubo TV, and Hulu Live TV, streaming providers who have ESPN. ESPN3 is not a channel. People who watch on cable should be able to watch through the Watch ESPN app too. Bottom line, you must be paying for ESPN with a subscriber as you will be required to sign in using your subscriber sign in name and password. EDIT: Disregard everything underlined as floridagators.com has it wrong. The regionals will be televised on ESPN+, checked it out myself. The four regionals starting Thursday will be televised on ESPN+ at a cost of $6.99 plus tax/fees for one month of service. If you aren't a current subscriber of ESPN+ and don't want to remain a subscriber, cancel the service after the regionals. You have to pay for and receive 1 month as there are no refunds for only using a partial month. In my case, I'll be subscribing through Amazon and will go back there to cancel the service. If you don't cancel, it will become a monthly reoccurring subscription charged. Don't let that happen unless that is your intent.
Don't intend to watch the play-in meets on Wednesday, but the regionals on Thursday and Saturday overlap. That sucks too. You also can't watch the meets on demand after the fact as ESPN+ is not a provided channel by television service providers. It's either pay to watch or don't watch. If you pay for ESPN+, you can watch on demand after the meet is over if the timing isn't good for you.
Took the plunge and signed up for the bundle. We already had Disney+ and Hulu, so bundling essentially gives us ESPN+ for free.
Signed up for ESPN+ through Amazon at $6.99 + tax/fees = $7.94. It isn't anything I'd watch enough to keep, but I'll have it for a month after cancellation. From what I saw of the Play-Ins yesterday, a few of those teams needed to play themselves out of the field before the 32-team field starts today. I'll just say we are so fortunate to have Jenny Rowland and one of the best teams in the nation.
Unbelievable! LSU had two to fall off the beam in the Raleigh regional and finished in 3rd place behind Missouri and Iowa. For those who haven't seen Iowa, they are good, not top 10, so LSU made it easy for the Hawkeyes who scored just under 197. On Saturday, you'll get to enjoy two outstanding floor routines for Iowa.
Even without that they didn’t have a good meet. 196.575. Give them .6 back for the counted fall and they are still only barely over 197.
True, but they were in first place going into their disastrous last rotation (beam). Should have been able to get to the regional finals. Very sad for their seniors.
the lsu team was crying, sad. think they had to use a 9.3. one fall and they live to compete on saturday.
Surprising result from our region too, Kentucky with literally their highest score ever beats Auburn 197.75-197.5 (though both advance). Definitely doesn't give us a ton of margin for error either if they repeat that on Saturday.
does it seem odd that scores at auburn, no matter who, are higher than elsewhere, good for us i guess.
