After retaining Pastran, re-assuring Kowacie and securing our recruiting class…. Please find Ndefo in the portal. He will be there bc his coach will be taking the job at Seton Hall. we need an Ndefo.
Who knows, Hollowell may stay. But if he goes to Seton Hall, wouldn’t Ndepo go with him as a grad transfer?
And he is doing it all at a small school, without Glover! Definitely cheating! Alas we are on the same page!
The early form of analytics was Pitino essentially saying three point shots or lay-ups when nobody else was doing it. Now it is much more fine grained.
If you can show that there is a tangible benefit that is bigger than the cost it will happen. With BD it was "logistics". With Golden it might be "analytics".
Please ignore the peanut gallery and burn a year or two if necessary to build your program for the long-haul success.
I'm prepared to suffer for at least two years. Sigh. Trying to predict next year's roster is depressing. Maybe GC can start a NIL entity, get everyone to chip in, and pay these kids enough to entice them to stay.
Alot of UF posters are glum on next season, next couple of seasons. I'm not so negative. Obviously it would be great if we retain coach Pinkens, Reeves, Lane, a few others, save the incoming class and blow up the transfer portal........lol, win the lottery too!! Hey Billy D did not have much success his first two years either, lets be patient with coach!
Alright, I’ll bight…. Help me understand the issues regarding the cameras. I’ve seen it mentioned multiple times.
The current position of the cameras results in a lot of empty seats and low energy seats showing up on the broadcasts of our games. If the cameras were flipped so that the student section was in the background of our games, the high energy of the o-dome would be more accurately portrayed.
Do you watch many of the home games when they are on TV? If so, do you ever notice the large amounts of empty seats behind the benches as compared to the students side?
In addition to what was shared in the previous two responses, the alumni side now has a club level, where fans can sit and have a beer, food, watch TV, etc. It seems that many on that side abandon their courtside seats to enjoy the club. It's a terrible look.
