I'm sorry to have to report that long time moderator Hallgator has passed away. Obituary for Lonnie Wayne Hall | Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Hall was the moderator who asked me to be a mod years ago and taught me the ropes so to speak. He was another person on this site who I never met in person but talked to numerous times and considered him a true friend. He will be missed.
RIP Hallgator. To his family my condolences and know that I will miss his contributions to NBN and keeping most of us civil when things were going south. I will miss him!

Hall was one of the very few posters who made it impossible to forget there are real people behind the screen names. He was so genuine…. Seemed like I was talking to a friend. I will really, really miss him here. This is such sad news.
