New Mex just stole UConn's lunch . . . and the basketball. Then drove the length of the court and laid it in for a 5pt lead, and-1 and :30 remaining.
Indiana is down by 40 to St. Mary's. 40! Holy cow. What does that mean for the Big 10? Keen in mind IU beat Illinois recently. Purdue and Illinois are probably the Big10s best contenders. Purdue could run into trouble against VT in round two. Illinois has a ridiculously tough road with Houston and Arizona.
Indiana getting crushed. Beat a Wyoming team that probably didn't deserve to be in the dance. Indiana has a losing record in Big Ten but got in because they won a couple if games in the Big 10t. Somehow didnt matter for A&M. Michigan had an easy draw playing Colorado St as the 6 seed. 4 teams got in from the Mountain West with maybe only SDSU the only one winning.
Indiana over A&M was a total joke. Just a horrible job by the committee this year. Seeding was also really poor.
I'm more concerned with Notre Dame/Rutgers getting in over Texas A&M. IU at least had some good wins. It's as if the committee completely disregarded how A&M was playing come tourney time.
Holy crap! Anyone watching St. Peters take UK to overtime? They're up three with the ball and :43 left!
Lol..I promise we could've beat some of these teams and just like we thought the BIG10 is overrated. Yawn
