Didn't read that article but there is one way that blaming the fans makes total sense. Enough Florida fans have turned away and become more apathetic to Florida Basketball. That is the reason he is gone. He saw the writing on the wall and grabbed what he could. There is no middle finger from either fans nor MW. Most of us respected him yet grew tired of mediocre, and sometimes ugly, play. No need for fans here to be asshats about it either.

Anybody with any sense knows that coach White had not succeeded by Gator standards. He was on his way out. As another poster stated he took what he could get. Good for the gator nation!
What are the Gator Standards in bball ? We had the BD era .. A-flash year with Lon , and that’s it … We are about where we should be. So we run a guy out of here that certainly met those “standards “ and replace them with who ??? All u haters tell me who are we gonna get . The names I here are no upgrade. We didn’t hire a full time coach until the 60’s. Donovan is literally a 1/3 of our seasons with a full time basketball coach. Throw in Kruger as well, and there’s been a decent amount of success.
Most schools had the same coaching situations. Sloan came in the mid 60s and he was full time Florida sports really didn’t do anything in baseball basketball and Football until the 90s
It corresponds to Floridas population boom. It’s not surprising when we’ve seen a rise as an athletic department, it tracks pretty closely as population took off in state.
Who cares what Bianchi thinks? He's a no-nothing toad who just writes clickbait bs. White leaving to UGA is a win for us. And for him. I wish Mike well, solid person from what I can tell but it didn't work here. I liked Zook a lot too but sometimes things don't work. It's OK. No harm, no foul.
