If it were me, I'd take the points and would assume that number will decrease between now and Thursday. IOW - get while the gettin's good. Iona is a dangerous team with a veteran coach in place. We are a deflated program in the shock faze of transition. It will come down to the starting guards, I think. CC will get his. How well will Appleby/Jones play here?

In the NIT, Florida should continue to feature Collin Castleton as the focal point of the Florida offense and then let the guards play off from the ball movement as the opponents' defenses collapse and try to guard the post.

Florida's guards needs to contribute to team rebounding by boxing out their opponents and not let rebounding be a liability to Florida's defense.

It should be an exciting game facing Rick Pitino's Iona squad. It will probably be a battle to the end!

Iona has a really good backcourt with Jolly, Clayton and Myers.
The center, Nelly is good… but raw. I think CC could get him into foul issues.
Florida is way more athletic on the wings.

I think the key to the game will be floridas motivation. Will they be engaged with their coach leaving? Will they rally around interim coach and make a run? I really have no idea what to expect.

Maybe Strickland accidentally mentions an opportunity to Rick in the men's room an hour B4 tip off?

CC needs the ball early and often. Offense has to run through CC.

Nelly Junior Joseph isn’t a push over, but CC is more polished and can likely get him into some foul issues.
Clayton is a freshman, but really good.

I see a lot of backlash towards the NIT. To me it's like the basketball version of a bowl game. But the ticket prices are a LOT cheaper, and you have a chance to earn another game! Past NIT crowds have been fun (lower-level is typically more energetic than most home games), so I'm happy to go. Obviously it's not where we want to be, but given that we're in it, I just want to see the team compete and earn another game.

I haven't read anywhere who will be coaching us. Is Mike already gone, or is he on the sideline for this one?

Lane should be starting over both of those. He earned it last game.

When I glanced online for tickets upper level seats were $32-40.... at the gate they are $4...all those 3rd party tickets sites are such a rip off

No, check ticketmaster before looking at other 3rd party brokers. Lowers are available for $18 each. I think uppers should be $2-$5, but they have 'em priced at $14 each.
