Well, looks like he ran for the money. Bet he knew he was on thin ice next year, and extended his SEC coaching career by 3-4 years at least by moving up the road. Feel a little betrayed, but no buyout!!!
I had no problem rooting for sos at usc. . . but for the occasions it impacted Florida. I’ll be able to do the same here.
If he doesn't want criticism when his teams fail and under perform, coaching was the wrong profession for him.
Geez - I turned the tv/computer off for a couple hours. Now it appears the SEC got screwed by the committee and our coach has left for GA . What the heck? Does anybody know if this was in the works? IOW - did he have a deal with GA days or even weeks ago? It sure seemed like it with the way the players came out in the first half against A&M.
Completely different circumstances. I think that would have changed if SOS left UF to immediately coach at USC. He would never have went to UGA.
It’s Georgia basketball. I’m sure the football board doesn’t share our animosity toward UK. I think the same applies here… at least it does for me.
Georgia is a football rival, like UK is a hoops rival. Do you think the football folks sweat Kentucky the way we do?
According to the tweet I posted: "White didn’t want his young kids affected by it at school and via social media" I can't blame him for wanting out to protect his kids, no matter how much he was getting paid.
We should do a fund raiser to send him out with farewell jorts. He can fit right in jorts and all in Georgia
big difference between SC and UGA, I dont mind him being ok at UGA, but I dont not wish him success there.

Just curious why you take that tweet as gospel? Is that guy connected to the program? He was shocked that White took the UGA job. It's odd because I'm constantly told on here that Florida doesn't have basketball fans.

I'll root for MW except when they play Florida and a handful of the other schools I have an affinity towards. Guy did what was best for him and his family, can't be mad at him. I'm willing to bet most of us would have done the same in his situation.
Nah, just my opinion but Napier is just another mercenary with no connections to UF. If he fails, no love lost from me.
