    I say Anthony Grant! He’s learned and has Dayton as a consistent program developing big time prospects. Can recruit. Should have kept things in house ala UNC Duke in the first place and handed to reigns to a Billy heir. Now it will be tough to pull him from his alma mater. Hopefully Billy will talk to him and convince him to come back to defend his court and what he built here.

    Go Gators!!!!!!!!!!

    Enfield should get a call too. After seeing the success of the Mark Few tree so far, I think Michaelson would be a good look.

    For guys that were hear as assistants I would say Grant or Smart.

    I don't think either will happen.

    On the SEC tourney telecast yesterday they were discussing the ridiculous strength of the SEC coaching as the key to the conference's recent success. Talked about big name coaches in the league...of course UF wasn't mentioned. I think we need a BIG hire this time. Not sure who, but a big name.

    Then we're not willing to compete. If we are, we will get a good coach. If not, we'll have to take a flier again on an unproven one.

    3 million a year is not a competitive salary? It is around a top 20 salary for NCAA coaches. Drew gets 3.35 million now, so what is an additional ~500k to get a better coach? We aren’t talking a Calipari-esc salary of 8 million, but a 10% increase over what we are/were paying White isn’t that much for a proven coach.
