Best case and worst case: Current roster Guards Jones - SR *Could return for Covid year? Kennedy - FR plays the 1? Reeves - FR plays the 2 or the 3 Appleby - SR *Could return for Covid year? McKissic - Grad Student - DONE? Fleming - Grad Student - DONE? Lane - SO - plays the 2 or the 3 Forwards and Centers Felder - JR Duruji - SR *Could return for Covid year? Johnson - SR and medically can't play Castleton - SR *Could return for Covid year? Gatkek - SO Jitobah - JR Incoming class Reneau - Forward Reed - Forward Aberdeen - Combo Guard If we don't have Applely or Jones return then we are really hurting in the back court IMO. Obviously we would hit the portal to fill those needs. Will certainly need to hit the portal to get some depth at the 4/5 position.
Are we all pretty well confused on which players have eligibility remaining? Someone with clout, please contact Chris Harry and have him report on it.
Grad transfers only get one year of eligibility right? Also it would be nice to get a legit SF in the transfer portal...haven't had one since Devin Robinson
Ruzhnetsev was a legitimate small forward and a really good one. Kowacie Reeves is a legitimate small forward and has the potential to be really good.
Anyone that was on a roster in 2020 will have 6 years to play 5. Without a medical waiver, that’s what it is. Pretty easy to figure out from there.
Not necessarily. In theory, you could graduate in 3 years. If you redshirted your freshman year, you could still have three years of eligibility left. You used to have 5 years to play 4. Players affected by covid (on a roster in 2020) have 6 years to play 5. Anything more than that would require a medical waiver.
The only player I'm certain that can't return is McKissic who's played 5 years of college ball. I'm not sure with Fleming. I believe everyone else is eligible to return. Have to believe CC is gone and after that there's a lot of uncertainty.

Now this was just a wild guess. Reeves could start at SF with Kennedy at SG Have to see who leaves and who from portol comes

McK and Fleming the only two players that 100% can not come back next year. I suspect Castleton goes pro. I think Appleby, Jones, and Felder all return. Duruji I haven't read anything indicating what he will do so unfair for me to speculate.
