Piracy and extortion and worse the world finds this acceptable. Believe me if Putin needed their money and assets they would have been seized a long time ago. How anyone believes Putin's actions are a direct result of the oligarchs without a preponderance of evidence is beyond me. The beef is with Putin and his army not the Russian citizens. If you think this will be forgotten by Russian citizens I beg to differ on that account.

That they got something set up that fast tells me they were preparing/planning something like this. This type of networking/setup doesn't happen overnight. Combined with the intelligence that China asked Russia to wait til after the Olympics (which China denies), sounds like they were prepared in case something happened. That or were going to do this eventually.

    From CNN live:

"Russia has fired 600 missiles; 95% of amassed combat power now in Ukraine, senior US defense official says

    From CNN’s Oren Liebermann

Russia has fired a total of 600 missiles since its invasion of Ukraine began, a senior US defense official said Sunday, and it has committed approximately 95% of its amassed combat power inside Ukraine."

So what happens when he runs out of ammo, etc? Because by the looks of things other than the thermobarics & nukes, Russia doesn't have the military arsenal to continue this for a long time.

So it'd be great if Poland would send those MIGs already.

    The horseshoe is real!

BTW, Unionpay already existed in China, and I have no clue what he is even talking about in terms of India. Sberbank can certainly try to develop an alternative multi-national system to compete with Visa and Mastercard. Good luck to them.

I really wish that I could link TikTok videos but there was one from a nursing home worker making her rounds & seeing older residents watching the Ukranian invasion.

Lots of patients in their 90s, 100 who lived through it before...just flashing back. Things like a former nurse grabbing her telling her "wear my cross, girl, so they don't take you" (the staffer is Jewish), an older man yelling out in German "Papa the Russians! Run!"...another former nurse yelling in the middle of the night for bandages because "my boys are dying".

One clear headed one looked at her in tears and said, "why did we die? Look at it. It's happening again."

Just sad & thought it was worth a mention.

The Australian singer Helen Reedy, I am Woman, shocked American audiences in the early 70s when she referred to God as She.
I remeber her on a talk show being asked about it.
"I didn't say God was female. I just referred to Her as She".

Do you know how to do anything other than blaspheme?

Also, it is a core strategic interest of our country that the US dollar remain the world's reserve currency. If the petrodollar falls, the economic impact that would be felt here is tremendous. We'd see hyperinflation for sure.

Russian army is not looking invincible and where is their air cover? Shoot and scoot. KORD is a special unit of the Ukrainian Nat'l Police.
