SEC Tournament Tie breaker

I'd pick #7 or then #5. We can beat UcheaT. It would take a better-than-average game against Arkansas but doable. Auburn or Kentucky to get to the NCAA Tournament would be the toughest out of the options I think.

 

Tennessee is just as hot as Arkansas.

 

We have to make it to the Finals, and probably win and get auto bid, depending on what happens in other action. We have virtually no chance at an at large at this point. Our games don't happen in a vacuum, as many on here act like when forecasting our chances at NCAAT.

 

You are wrong. If we win two and one is against auburn or Kentucky. We dance. That being said. It’s not gonna happen unfortunately.

 

From what I can tell, it looks like we'll be either 7 or 9 depending on the outcome of the A&M/MSU game. And oddly, in either case, we'd play A&M.

4th straight year opening on a Thursday, and 5th time in the last 7. Almost every year now we open SEC tournament play on Thursday with the rest of the middle of the pack SEC teams. That's where we are now with Thursday Mike.

 

Looks like we're going to have to beat Auburn again to make the dance. Tough draw.

 

Better than opening on Wednesday

 

Just one more win woulda changed everything. Yet here we are.

 

That win probably could have been Texas A&M even. It’d make us 3-8 vs QQ and 10-8 in conference. Opportunity after opportunity handed to this team and they just couldn’t deliver nearly consistent enough.

 

The SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament tips off on Wednesday night in Tampa, with a game between 12-seed Mizzou and 13-seed Ole Miss preceding the nightcap between 11-seed Vanderbilt and 14-seed Georgia.

So, who will end up cutting down the nets in Tampa on Sunday afternoon before the NCAA Tournament selection show? Will it be regular-season champ Auburn?

According to CBB stats guru Ken Pomeroy, Kentucky actually has the best chance to win it all, with a 30.7% chance to win the title game. Auburn checks in at No. 2 (26.1%), Tennessee at No. 3 (20.3%) and Arkansas at No. 4 (8.8%):
