My personal opinion is that Trump would have supported the invasion of Ukraine had he been re-elected. I base this on his personal animus to Zelensky for not announcing an investigation into Joe Biden. He would have seen this as his chance to get rid of someone who wasn’t loyal to him. This would have splintered NATO irrevocably. I don’t know how the US population would have reacted to that. My guess is that his base would still have stuck with him.
True, but Trump acquiesced to the annexation of Crimea after he took office. These are from 2018. Trump reportedly claimed to leaders at the G7 that Crimea is part of Russia because everyone there speaks Russian Trump Doesn't Rule Out Recognizing Russia's Annexation Of Crimea
Your life will be much better when you let yourself know this to be the case. Don't bother, nothing works. The whole Q thing was what finally made me see that reality for many people is what they choose to believe, often in the face of facts. There are people on both sides that just believe whatever the hell they want, and act accordingly. It's an insane world and maybe a fantasy is what most really want in the face of reality.
Any shred of credibility he had has vaporized. Putin is the sole cause of this crap. Carlson needs some meds badly
He had any credibility?? Ship him, Trump, & all their pals to Russia. Matter of fact, open investigations to see if any oligarchs now on the sanctions list are giving any politicians/their campaigns money.
You’d think people with such “shredded” credibility as the Fox Hosts, particularly Ingraham and Tucker crazy takes on Ukraine, would be fired. You’d think it would be impossible to move forward with these clowns. Yet… I’m quite sure they will, and their ratings may not even suffer.
Pence to condemn Republican Putin 'apologists' in speech to RNC donors - CNNPolitics "Former Vice President Mike Pence is expected to condemn Republican "apologists" who have complimented Russian President Vladimir Putin amid his invasion of Ukraine, according to excerpts of a Friday speech to top GOP donors, obtained by CNN. "There is no room in this party for apologists for Putin. There is only room for champions of freedom," Pence is expected to say."
Probably. If nothing else I hope there's some reflecting as they see the similarities between Putin/propaganda media & how Trump envisions the US/the hold propaganda has on some people, and maybe start pushing the fringe away.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/03/01/bolton-trump-russia-ukraine-newsmax/ Former national security adviser John Bolton rejected a claim from a Newsmax host who asserted that the behavior of President Donald Trump deterred the Russians from invading Ukraine. Bolton emphasized that Trump “barely knew where Ukraine was.” Apparently Trump asked if Finland was part of Russia
