French finance minister Bruno Le Maire announced on Thursday that French authorities had seized Sechin's yacht — named "Amor Vero," or "True Love" in Italian — at the Mediterranean port of La Ciotat on Wednesday.

I was watching the coverage of this and they were talking about that 40 mile long convoy outside of Kyiv. My thought was to take the majority of the Ukranian army outside the city, leave a token force in the city and then when the Russians encircle the city attack them from behind.
After 9/11 I recall a concern being terrorist attacks on nuclear plants. and here we are. Russia is a terrorist state.
We need to let it play out. Lots of emotions right now and Putin is playing games. Only way we get involved is if they attack NATO, or other countries start lining up on their side, like China NK or Iran.
More like trying to find the right people to do the job through back channels. I find it very hard to believe that there is any consensus at any level in Russia that supports the insanity of what Putin is doing. The army must be turned somehow. They are soldiers obeying the orders of a madman now.
I mean, it was a training building on fire, I doubt the Russians would care much about that. Apparently they have control of the facility now, so they got what they set out to get and this isn't gonna deter future similar actions either.
From the internet: The power plant being shelled is a pressurized water reactor, where the fuel is immersed in water at all times. Should the coolant flow stop, the heating of the water itself begins to moderate the reaction (opposite of what happened in Chernobyl). The core is entombed (so to speak) in a western style containment vessel and there are no graphite coated tips on the control rods, those now use the western style, far more expensive zirconium allow. As long as the Russians do not hit the containment vessel or the containment tombs where the spent fuel rods are stored (if they are stored on site) there should be little risk of a Chernobyl type event. All of that said, just for shelling anywhere near a nuclear power plant, the entire world should attack and destroy Russia once and for all. That is about one of the most STUPID things that a supposed military power could ever, ever do (and yet another in the long, long line of reasons that nuclear power plants should all be idled and done away with for ever)!
