this up and down in or out of the NCAA's is driving me crazy. I expect that we will lose to Vandy so that will be it. G-d I hope I am wrong. Unfortunately, next year will be the same thing 18-13 or around there.

    Current Record: 18-11 (8-8)

Key wins: vs Ohio State 18-8 (neutral site), vs Auburn 25-4

Bad losses: vs Texas Southern 14-11 vs Maryland 14-15 (neutral site) at Ole Miss (13-16)

    Must-win games left: at Vanderbilt

    Key games left: vs Kentucky
    ---------------------------------------------------

Win the next 2 and they might sneak in no matter what happens in the SEC tournament. 1-1 would mean they would need possibly 2 wins in the SEC tournament. Going 0-2 probably puts them in a position where they may need to win 3 or win the whole tournament to secure a bid.

Assuming we have to play every round, in the SECT, 10 I think, but not sure.

I might be wrong, but I was figuring that if we won the last 2 conference games to go 10-8, we would get a 1st round bye.

Even if we lose the next 2 we won't play on the first day. That will be Georgia, Missouri, Ole Miss, and probably TAMU or Vandy

Vandy's Net Ranking is up to 74 so this presents another opportunity to get a Quad 1 victory. If Florida were to win, they would have to hope Vandy can win at Miss on Saturday to stay a Quad 1 victory. This is another reason that the Vandy game is a must win.

Ohio State taking their 2nd bad loss in a row doesn't help us

Where is South Carolina in the NET rankings? I noticed that they are suddenly 9-8 in conference play.

    Current Record: 19-11 (9-8)

Key wins: vs Ohio State 18-9 (neutral site), vs Auburn 25-4

Bad losses: vs Texas Southern 14-12 vs Maryland 14-15 (neutral site) at Ole Miss (13-17)

Key games left: vs Kentucky, SEC Tournament
    ---------------------------------------------------

Found a way to pull out the win in Nashville. The team was projected in the "Next Four Out" category on ESPN, so a win against Kentucky or a multiple win appearance in the SEC tournament will be necessary to make the field.

Something I saw on their site was that if UF finishes with 21 wins they have a 61% chance of receiving an invite.

On one hand that means win two SEC tourney games and our odds double. On the other hand, if one of those wins is UK, I wonder if the odds jump to closer to 75-80%. It's hard to see UF being left out if we beat UK and win a tourney game. 10-8 sec record and probably 5 Q1 wins at that point?
