That was a battle against the gods, since everything was working for Vandy. We are a pretty good team and almost ended the season just because the other team had a night. 50% threes. Falling down throw up shots. Weird foul calls. This team has fight.
Lol..don't forget during the first few years of the Mike White era Vandy always beat us and sometimes it was just like that. So I think it's the basketball God's giving us bone

I didn't think Lane would give us anything on offense but he has something. I like his floater and that drive to the basket as well. The guy is an athletic freak too.
Reminds me of Casey Prather who was a turnover machine and then suddenly the lights went on. Love that he's not taking outside shots and playing great defense. Last night 26 minutes, 3-3 fg, 1 block, 1 steal and 0 TO's.
The SEC broadcast team made a great point about that. We finally moved the ball with purpose and urgency that last minute, and that got us open looks and free throws.
The more I think about it, his projection feels a lot like Casey Prather's. A ton of athletic ability but it took time for the college game to slow down for him. He isn't jacking up shots like he was doing early in the season but his "handle" looked much better against Vandy.
I no longer have my fingers crossed when he's on the floor. That's how I know he has arrived as a player.
