I see four on that list from Ft. Lauderdale. None from Palm Beach County. I like the guys on the list and don't care where they come from. The Dade kids will want to come once they see what the Gators do on the field.
SuperMom please explain your dislike. Would like to hear why you feel so strongly as to post a dislike on Vizzina.
I didn't listed a visiting date for Comanni McClain in my earlier posts, well McClain is visiting UF on the March 19 weekend. 4* 6-3 223 LB Grayson Howard has the Gators sitting near the top of his list. One more note, after a standout performance at the Under Armour All American camp in Miami 4* WR William Fowles is receiving plenty attention from the Gators, has UF among his top 10 and could also be visiting the Gators sometime in March.
9 WRs to keep an eye for the Gators 2023 class; 6-5 190 Tyler Williams from Lakeland HS, 6-4 183 4.3 sprinter Shelton Sampson from Louisiana, 6-2 185 Daquayvious Sorey from Chipley, and others that i have posted about it before like 6-0 190 Brandon Inniss from American Heritage, 5-10 160 Santana Fleming also from American Heritage, 6-2 175 Bryson Rogers from Wiregrass Ranch, Aidan Mizell from Boone, 5-10 165 Eugene Wilson from Gaither and William Fowles posted in the last post.
Lebbeus Overton, 6’5” and 265, just reclassified from 2023 class to the 2022 class. Alpharetta Milton HS in GA. Was a TAM commit and now scheduled to visit TAM, Oregon and UGA to enroll in May upon HS grad. Visiting these schools in March. Looks like a great one. Wonder if we could get a visit?
He plays for a private school. The kid will take 2 years to develop to get where the Michigan kid or Manning kid is already. He plays weak competition.
Vizzina plays in 6A football vs Manning in 2A football. Both are private schools. Level of competition is open to debate. Not disparaging Manning, but looking to a more realistic choice.
There is 2 or 3 coaches who will cover South Florida including the off the field coach who comes over from UM, sadly i don't remember their names, however even with this group like i posted before its the weakest group of recruiters in the staff.
As of February 28 a total of 11 5* players and 29 4* players has CONFIRMED that they will visit UF in March, but the number is still growing. Gators LB's coach Mike Peterson has a very good relationship with Georgia's Edge rusher T J Searcy. The 6-5 250 has offers from Georgia, Clemson, South Carolina, Auburn and Tennessee. One more note, another player very interested in Gators and wants to visit UF but hasn't had a offer from them is Alabama's 6-7 290 Wilkin Formby, however he has offers from Alabama, Clemson and Oklahoma.
Yeah...."private schools" also include St Thomas Aquinas, Bolles, American Heritage, Bishop Moore, Trinity Catholic, IMG to name a few
I looked up the front page story on S Jalon Kilgore, not rated, but is pretty fast for a safety (4.5) and is bright (3.5 GPA). Cocks and Cats going after him.
Sorry, I just dont see anything with this kids (Vizzina) tape that stands out. Watch the kid from Detroit MI and compare. Watch Manning's tape and compare. Vizzina looks to play against weak competition. I think the kid we signed this year is better.
