CC fumbled that before recovering. He seems to fumble a lot of those. I'm wondering if the coaches are teaching him anything about that or if he just doesn't get it.
Fleming - 10 points (4-of-8 field, 2-of-5 3 pt) M Jones - 8 points (3-of-5 field, 2-of-4 3 pt) C Castle - 6 points (3-of-5 field) Appleby - 6 points (2-of-4 field, 2-of-2 3pt)
His hands don't seem to be that strong or something.....or maybe it's just a coordination thing. Always been that way.....
At least Castleton finished at the rim as he had excellent post position before his shot. Regarding your point, There were times this kind of low-post feed to Castleton led to numerous forced turnovers from some of our opponents as the opponent could knock this entry pass away. Collin does much better when the gator players could lob the ball up to him; this allowed Castleton to keep the ball high above his head while allowing him to take his shot attempt - that happened often in the games against Arkansas and Auburn. If the defender tries anything while Castleton receves the ball high, I think that would be a potential foul call on our opponents. If collin does receive the ball low, he has to to either quickly gather himself especially if he is double teamed to get off a quick shot or make a pass to an open teammate. What would be a great adjustment by Coach White is if any UF player could potentially cut to the basket when receiving a pass from Castleton rather than always settling for a 3-pt attempt shot.
What a sequence of plays: Appleby steal tip to Jones back to Appleby and a pass-dunk to Flemming! 48-34!
