Gators moved the ball on offense better than they have in a while, fought hard. Just ran into a good Arkansas team that is well coached.

 

You are right. I thought both teams played at a high level. I'm getting sick and tired of the negativity even after a great game like this. I know, it took long enough but anyone that doesn't know Arkansas is red hot right now doesn't know chit about basketball.

 

That was pretty poor from 7 and 1/2 minutes in. We had a six-point lead and allowed them to score 26 points - 139 ppg rate.

 

my apologies. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see 2-1 getting us in without a major SEC tourney run. Sadly, I don’t think this team is capable of stringing together 2+ wins against solid competition. I’m willing to try to see the glass half full but our glass seems to leak a lot

I don’t go, but it wasn’t announced as a sellout locally. We’re there a lot of empties? Even after the big Auburn win, fans just don’t buy in to this program. Even the court rushing was half-assed. I’m old, so I truly hope I get to see a different program soon.

 

Only if one of the two wins is UK. Otherwise we have to win 2 SEC Tournament games if we have a shot.

 

No one is disappointed in this game in a vacuum. They are disappointed that we got throttled by Texas Southern. They are disappointed that we lost to Oklahoma and Maryland. They are disappointed that we couldn’t beat Alabama or LSU at home to open the SEC year. They are disappointed Texas A&M snapped its enormous losing streak against us. Fans are human, these things combined get people down. Combine that with being a top 25 team for a combined approximately 5 weeks in the last 5 years and people get down. I’m honestly more surprised people can keep being positive, but maybe Gator basketball means more to some than others.

 

Anything is possible...I expected us to lose this past Saturday cause Auburn was highly ranked and we won, had hoped that game would boost us up, to realize we can beat anyone,confidence..if we had played better defense..the game tonight could have been won..

Why did jones even go out there, made no shots from the field. When you play with guys that can’t hit shots in a hotly contested game you lose. Overall we played hard, but Arkansas has an offense that works with movement and screens, they rebound and get the loose balls. This was a clinic for us as we watched them run it to perfection on us. Not only that they were way more physical. We kept chucking threes which most were contested due to dribble drive. Arkansas deserved this game, we just weren’t good enough on offense. It is up to us to beat Vandy on the road and maybe, if we get an easy draw in the SEC tournament, win one there. Two wins would give us a chance. Kentucky will be like Arkansas on Saturday. Hopefully Kentucky falls asleep, trips over their feet and shoots 10%. LOL

Who says we watch? I’m watching the baseball team on ESPN+, as well as the Florida Panthers on my laptop. I lurk here to keep up with score and to see the list of Mike White defenders get smaller and smaller. Can’t get much worse in the stands. How many sellouts in past couple of years?

 

Why remain invested in anything you love that disappoints you? Because you love them. We as fans actually do control more than people think. I’m not calling for a change necessarily, but change happens because people express their disappointment in mass.

Im actually happy when they win. But I know long-term I will remain disappointed PRECISELY because Mike White is our head coach.
