Lol, boring deflection from a person that doesn't understand the difference between an opinion and a fact. Boring! Better luck next boring deflection.

Latest CDC data tracker numbers are out. I should have looked closer at the data collection. Didn't realize that this is a sample from about 68% of the reporting public health agencies, though it includes three of the four big states (less FL...of course). This, I gather is why they don't report absolute numbers of cases & deaths, only rates, which can be generalized to the larger population.

Lessons still the same: Omicron def breaking through but better to vaxxed, especially w/deaths being overwhelmingly of those not vaccinated. Y'all can go through the age adjusted and specific vaccine data type here.

Well if it’s the policy of the ski resort and you are staying there, play by their rules.
Did he say he had some medical exemption? Was it something cleared with the resort?

Also, it’s a idiotic rule. It’s outside on a lift that’s moving through fresh air. Make some damn sense of this crap.

Idiotic rule for sure. But it’s their resort and their idiotic rule. Don’t like it? Ski somewhere else! Simple as that.

The guy traumatized his kids because he’s too big of a bitch to follow the incredibly simple rule and put on a mask. What an absolutely pathetic hill to die on.

What the hell is wrong with people? It’s the same thing we are seeing so often on airplanes now. The entitlement of these people is just amazing.

Also gotta love how the wife is filming instead of comforting her crying child who is getting embarrassed by dad. SMH.

Yup. Stupid dad. But really stupid rule. The chances of contracting Covid on a ski lift is close to 0%. This is what I'm talking about. Why continue to keep these stupid rules? To what purpose other than control? All these moronic rules that make zero sense do is continue to erode trust in the people who make and enforce them and rightfully so. o_O

The ski resort, a private business, made the rule. If people lose trust in them then it will hurt their business. Those people can take their business elsewhere. That’s how free markets work.

Perhaps he should have. What he shouldn’t have done is thrown a temper tantrum, holding up the lines like an absolute bitch.

In this example of the ski slope you're right, of course. My point about stupid rules was meant to be more of a general statement dovetailing off my previous posts....about....you know.... stupid rules.

Why wouldn’t the CDC release this date when they had it? Usually when someone/some lace doesn’t release something it means the data isn’t what they want out there.

Sister in law, 69, just spent 4 days in hospital, brother in law, 80, spent 5 days and mother in law, 90, just went to the er and waiting on a room. all came down with covid.
Not vaxxed- live together and wasn't worried about covid.

There nothing to discuss if you just present 2 sentences.

I did read the article, that I linked, and I am guessing the CDC does it because they are scared anti vaxers and skeptics will misuse it, because sometimes the data on the face don’t tell the real story. However I agree with Paul Offit, the data should be made available and hopefully the correct interpretations will win out. It’s absurd we have to rely on Israeli data to make decisions.
