It's another top-10 dual as No. 2 Florida gymnastics is at No. 10 Kentucky Friday. And this one has a trophy storyline.

The Gators are undefeated in Southeastern Conference action (5-0). There are three teams with a single league loss – Auburn, Kentucky and LSU. A win Friday guarantees Florida at least a share of its fourth consecutive SEC regular-season title as the team would have one remaining league meet (March 4 at Auburn).

Florida at Kentucky kicks off SEC Network's Friday Night Heights coverage from the Memorial Coliseum at 6 p.m. ET.

    How to Follow the Gators:
Florida at Kentucky is the first of a SEC Network Friday Night Heights double-header. Alex Perlman and Olympian/Gator Great Bridget Sloan call the action.

On the go Friday? Follow the action on SEC Network or follow the scores.

    In the Gators' Last Meet:
The nation's top floor exercise team total moved Florida from a third-rotation tie to a 198.15 – 197.825 win over No. 5 Louisiana State in the nation's top dual of the weekend in front of a sellout Stephen C. O'Connell Center at the Exactech Arena crowd of 9,682. Florida's total of 198.15 led all teams last weekend and gives UF two totals among the nation's top four of 2022 (No. 2: 198.25; No. 4: 198.15).

All six Gator floor marks were a 9.9 or better as UF tallied a 49.80 to close the meet on floor exercise – the second-highest floor total in program history. Nya Reed earned her second 10.0 of her senior season to take her third win on the event of 2022. Two other Gators posted near-perfect 9.975s on floor –Trinity Thomas and freshman Leanne Wong. Thomas used that same mark to win vault and shared the uneven bars win at 9.95 with fellow senior Savannah Schoenherr and LSU's Haleigh Bryant. The balance beam title was shared at 9.95 by UF senior Leah Clapper and LSU's Kiya Johnson. Wong upped her collegiate best to 39.65 to win her second consecutive all-around.

SEC Awards for Nya Reed & Leanne Wong:
Two Gators earned SEC Weekly honors after their performances versus LSU. Wong claims her first SEC Gymnast of the Week honor after winning all-around with the league-leading total of the weekend (39.65).

Reed picks up her first SEC Specialist of the Week honor and fourth such honor of the last two seasons after posting her second floor exercise 10.0 of 2022.

    About the Kentucky Wildcats:
The Wildcats have been among the nation's top 12 each of the last five weeks. Kentucky turned in its season best of 197.45 in consecutive wins (Jan. 29 vs Missouri; Feb. 4 quad meet). Junior Raena Worley claimed three consecutive SEC Gymnast of the Week honors in 2022 and owns a season best all-around total of 39.75.

    Series History:
    Florida leads 90-1. .
Last meeting: UF was third(196.975) at 2021 SEC Championships and Kentucky was fourth (196.825).

    Rankings:
Florida: No. 2 on the Week 6 Road to Nationals site
    Kentucky: No. 10

197.775 is our current high road score. 196.975 is our lowest roads score. With NQS standings starting, it will be important to beat these road scores tonight. Go Gators!

I have no expertise in gymnastics scoring whatsoever, but in my humble opinion, these judges are awful.

Considering how flat we looked, 197.575 is a decent road score. 49.525 Vault 49.150 UB 49.550 Beam 49.350 Floor. Trinity Thomas wins AA 39.700!

A good win with a strong beam performance. We might need that later in some big meets.

It's interesting to look at the judges' scoring. The two judges had fairly large (.1-.15) disagreements on many routines. One of these judges was way off the mark.

Yeah I am not big into blaming the refs, umps, judges etc. but there were some clear discrepancies tonight.
Regardless they got a good win and a solid but not great score.
From an AQS perspective we still have three road meets to drop the 196.8 at UGA. A good home meet against OK and we can drop a 197.6, and then we should be set for top 4 likely.
