197.775 is our current high road score. 196.975 is our lowest roads score. With NQS standings starting, it will be important to beat these road scores tonight. Go Gators!
Blakely: Some leg separation on Maloney, Pak better, good last handstand, double front cowboyed AF 9.825
Blogger: McCusker: She’s back! Pretty Maloney, legs on the Pak a little bit, Van Leeuqen her usual, double back, can’t quite see but landing was strong. Oh it’s a stick. 9.800?
I have no expertise in gymnastics scoring whatsoever, but in my humble opinion, these judges are awful.
Considering how flat we looked, 197.575 is a decent road score. 49.525 Vault 49.150 UB 49.550 Beam 49.350 Floor. Trinity Thomas wins AA 39.700!
A good win with a strong beam performance. We might need that later in some big meets. It's interesting to look at the judges' scoring. The two judges had fairly large (.1-.15) disagreements on many routines. One of these judges was way off the mark.
Yeah I am not big into blaming the refs, umps, judges etc. but there were some clear discrepancies tonight. Regardless they got a good win and a solid but not great score. From an AQS perspective we still have three road meets to drop the 196.8 at UGA. A good home meet against OK and we can drop a 197.6, and then we should be set for top 4 likely.
