This was in the “Time to remove the Interim” thread but deserves its own. Note that the Women’s team is pretty much the same as last year but without last year’s best player. The team did not change, but the coach did.
It's amazing how he was the only thing keeping this team from being successful. Not the roster or assistants also, just the head coach torpedo-ing the entire program!

I've never met this lady, I don't know much about WBB, but she seems like a genuinely good person and a real difference maker. People like this just make you want to be a part of their team. My track coach at UF was like this- Joe Walker. And we followed the same trajectory- next to last in Outdoor Track when I was a soph, to SEC champs just 2 years later when I was a senior. (May 87) This is exactly the kind of coach we need at UF.

Harvard's Kathy Delaney-Smith to retire after 2021-22 - The Next Her mentor retiring after 40 years coaching at Harvard.
At 20-6, with a big game later today at LSU the fact that these ladies are being talked about in a positive light is significant. Time to take the interm tag off and pay the woman. SS I hope you are paying attention.
