Westbrook has coached in the last two State Championship games and I think he won it last year.

Gervon gonna be one of those dudes who rep UF HAAAARD after they go pro much like CGJ and Brandon Spikes do. Need more outspoken former Gators online (Twitter to be exact)

North Shore kid. (Median price for a home in Lake Forest is over $800k.) He probably doesn't need the money.

Not sure UF is ever going to go all in with the NIL arms race. Not its institutional character and will probably wait out some rules or stabilization of the market.

UF either needs to level the playing field or align it self to another conference. Could very easily become another Vandy in the conference if everyone else is paying top dollar. I think we will step up.

The Florida legislature NIL law needs to be changed or rescinded. Placed us at a disadvantage. Currently Florida colleges can’t offer or structure NIL like States without such laws. This is much like the State law that requires JUCO transfers to have a math class that other States don’t require. We lose a number of out of State JUCO kids each year to other programs due to that requirement.

Not saying we don't need to step up our NIL game, but which of our QBs should we be paying close to $1 million? Especially since we don't have any clue who our starting QB will be.

Sounds like someone that won't get pushed around on the scout team. Strong competition in practice has to be a great thing.

Hasn’t the UAA already announced a partnership with the Gator Collective? I thought I heard Eddie Rojas on a podcast (probably Breakdown) talking already lining up 6 figure NIL deals with current players and looking to start 7 figure deals as they get more members.

Solid PWO pick up for sure. He looks like the kind of kid that ends up playing in the Big 10 for 4-5 years and contributes.

Alarm bells should be ringing for Vols fan. They are budgeting their NIL money poorly. The difference in quality in Hooker to any backup is not worth $1 million. They need to spend that money in some other areas wisely to boost their roster.

As for any business, spending a lot of money is not the key, spending it wisely is.

Agreed, the ROI will be terrible if your paying him $1 million for one year. Hell it would be terrible if it was for him playing 4 years.

The crazy thing is that there will be a lot of underperforming players that were paid big money coming out of high school. We see it all the time. Crazy hyped kid never amounts to much in college and is never heard from again.
