Masking and social distancing were the logical responses to a pandemic spread of a novel animal virus when there are no other weapons to fight such a virus such as therapeutic treatments and vaccines. Humans are the vehicle and natural human social interaction making it much easier for the virus to spread. The resistance to any such measures is a flaw in human psychology.

I think buck just wants the pleasure of re-igniting the tired out arguments. The subsequent thousand words in response to his single, hackneyed sentence is going to be soooo boring endure.

Or it could be medicine is complicated and vaccines may be for one person and not for another. So instead of allowing people to use irrelevant information (whether one is vaccinated or not)…keep it to yourself is a perfectly reasonable position.

The flaw is people wearing them in public and then getting in their car in small enclosed space and not wear them.

But hey…virtue signaling does make some feel better.

I see the Masker's are still very quiet about how masks are now being optional just about everywhere now(except a few really nut job areas). Odds on which poster will be the first to say they were wrong? I think some are so dug in that they will never admit they were wrong for almost 2 years. That's the best part for me. They know they were wrong, everyone else knows they were wrong but they will still try to defend their position.

And we have example number 1,000,578 that Natural immunity is vastly superior to just the vaccine.

Just dropped my kid off this morning (NY) Apparently teachers/staff DONT have to mask at all, but all the kids still have to mask, can't use lockers, lunch is still separated, no mask breaks, etc. They were the ones (well the local union rep) pushing the state to keep the mask mandates in school for safety.

*facepalm* my rather eloquent son said they were a bunch of hypocrites and he & his friends knew it, & frequently brought it up to all their teachers/staffers. He wears it just fine, but he said he told a vice principal "so guess that the virus magically mutated to only make children sick now? And I'm vaccinated and you're not, and you don't have to wear a mask why?"

    Question for the experts here:

When Trump rallies were held, it was determined here that they were "Super Spreader events" and this board almost stroked out - Is that out of fashion now seeing all the maskless people at the Super Bowl and subsequent parade?

Or did everyone just hold their breath for the whole game?

Weird how you're asking now, after NFL opened to full capacity the entire 2021-2022 season.
