I am sorry with my my estimate of the score, 67 us, 66 them. Way too many points for us to get through the nets. Dribble drive offense, who thought this offense would be good for Florida? Our coaches can’t get one person on this team to be consistent shooting the ball. We played down to the competition tonight, and of course, on the road, the dribble drive offense, this is text book on how to lose games.
Well, the good news is that I don't have to buy everyone a round. Then again, anybody who sat through this game deserves more than just one. In what may have sealed the Gators' ncaa tournament fate, the Aggies forced a poor shooting team into shooting horrendously (28.8%fg % 23.3% from three). Even worse, Castleton's 15pt/15rb game went to waste. And what happened to Felder? He was very efficient in the first half, but hardly played in the second. Coach went guard heavy and while Niels played well, we really could have used Felder as another down low presence. Even I question this result, but for the second straight game, Felder's numbers came up best, edging Castleton for top performer. Reason appears to be shooting % (Felder was 3/4 and CC was 5/10) and turnovers (1 to 2). Nobody picked Felder. Agree bullish. It's sad because this is a very likable group of kids. They play hard and appear to have good character. They're just not a strong collection of shooters and that's gonna rear its ugly head against good defenses on the road. Thought they might pull it together before the end of the season, but that's looking less and less likely. Win or lose, I'll be here and happy to run the picks.
