Appleby out with some kind of leg injury . . . Great defense by Duruji and a nice 3 to cut the lead to 20-11.
He’s definitely been playing through pain, you could see it even in his first game back, last game he seemed to have a more significant aggravation and still went back in. Guys a soldier out there, wouldn’t say he’s phoning it in at all. He might be a bit tentative of getting a more severe pain where he can’t even raise his arm. If the game gets out of hand, might not be a bad idea to just rest guys and focus on the home games. But you obviously have to try to get back in it in the first half, in case a guy gets hot (and Felder hits a 3 as I’m typing this to cut it to 6).
I’ll say it again, Felder needs to play more. Not sure why he doesn’t. I know he was sick But he didn’t play much before that and he’s been cleared to play for 10 to 12 days
Had two chances to get make it a one possession game but no dice. However, I’d rather miss shots like we did vs a flat out turnover like we had earlier.
