I was determined to attend UF but wasn’t able to right out of HS. I went two years at my local community/state college, saved money by staying home and got my AA. I worked the whole time gaining some experience for the resume (and essay). I then spent a semester at Santa Fe completing a few prerequisite classes for the specific UF program I was applying to. I applied to UF and got in. So did three of my buds who followed the same path… one entering the same program I did… the other electrical engineering.
Our degrees say UF on them all the same

Strange title for this year's class. "D23AMTEAM"? Is that supposed to mean the Damn 23 Team? Or, The 23 morning team? lol

Yeah, Dream Team. Being 20”23”, and us being a Jordan school and all, kind of makes sense. But it took me a while to figure it out lol. As long as the recruits like it.

 

While I did have to turn my head sideways, I almost immediately realized what they were going after.... which means most people should be able to as well. Although, the Jordan reference was lost on me until you pointed it out.

 

I didn't get the Jordan reference either, good catch. Ha maybe in 22 years we can do D45amteam in homage to his baseball days. Definitely agree as long as the recruits like it.

 

I admire you for that route.

 

It all blew straight over my head, but now I feel so much more enlightened.

Even that weird 1337 sp33k back in the early '00s put an 'l', '1' or '|' in front of the '2' to make an 'R'. It looks low-key bad

 

Yeah, it's not great. I've never seen a 2 used as an "R", but I guess you can kind of read it?
